Dozens of South Africans have complained about delayed/failed Temu deliveries in two months, mostly blaming couriers. On Hellopeter, Temu scores 1.59/5 across 456 annual reviews; 1-star ratings topped 60% in 11/12 months, peaking at 90.3% in Dec 2025 (only 2.8% 5-star, no 3/4-star).

GFS Express is the main issue—users cite no updates, unreturned calls, and false “out for delivery”/“failed” alerts. CN Express also faces complaints, including delayed “Local warehouse” orders. One user got a refund after 15+ days without updates, per Temu’s policy.

The National Consumer Commission monitors Temu’s local warehouse rollout. Temu attributes delays to peak-season volumes, working with couriers to improve. GFS admits festive “hiccups” and is fixing issues to boost satisfaction.
