Retail group Yoyoso—encompassing Yoyoso, Miniso, and Acecco brands—has entered liquidation, owing millions. Liquidators McDonald Vague stated 8 Auckland stores will close by Jan 2026; Northcote’s Acecco is shut, others trade to reduce stock, with staff retained as needed.
Total debts include $217k to former staff ( $63k paid, full entitlements expected), $940k to Inland Revenue (unlikely fully repaid), and at least $2.1M to unsecured creditors (may get nothing). Contingent landlord claims and IRD penalties are extra.
Retail consultant Chris Wilkinson linked the collapse to shoppers shifting to Temu/AliExpress/Shein for cheaper novelty goods. Retail NZ’s Carolyn Young noted a tough NZ market, citing EB Games’ closure, and said businesses failed amid prolonged losses and delayed economic recovery.
零售集团 Yoyoso(旗下拥有 Yoyoso、Miniso 和 Acecco 三大品牌)已进入清算程序,负债数百万美元。
